About VetHealth Global

VetHealth Global is the premiere North American based animal health industry conference. In a short span of 5 years, VetHealth Global has emerged as a "must attend" event for animal health strategic planners and executives. VetHealth Global focuses on topical issues important to the worldwide animal health industry, while providing a unique opportunity for networking between major industry players, regulators, service providers and life sciences research communities.

The conference was originally conceived in 2003 by the City of Agri-Food, Agri-Environmental and Veterinary Biotechnology of St Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. Located 30 minutes from the thriving Life Sciences business hub of Montreal, this innovation and commercialization cluster consists of over 150 institutions involved in research, teaching, tech-transfer and venture-based industry development, including North America’s only French-language School of Veterinary Medicine.

In 2004, the first VetHealth Global conference attracted over 200 executive-level participants, around the theme of novel livestock vaccines and antibiotic technologies. Subsequent years dealt with the issue of emerging animal diseases, including BSE, avian influenza and zoonostic disease transmission between animals and their human handlers.

As a natural evolution of its early successes in St Hyacinthe, VetHealth Global is now being held in alternate years by the Bioscience cluster around the Atlantic Veterinary College and the biotechnology industry base in Prince Edward Island, Canada. With a growth rate of more than 25% per year, this innovative bio-pharma research and industry cluster promises to take VetHealth Global to its next level of development, as it incorporates even more networking and venture-based business opportunities for major pharma, animal health and animal nutrition industry participants.

As an annual event, VetHealth Global keeps pace with the global animal health industry by presenting cutting-edge information on issues of vital importance to your sector, while providing a unique opportunity for both major and emerging animal health & nutrition companies, research networks and aligned service industries to network and seek strategic partnerships with other members of the global industry.
